I would like to have Hedwig or Hermione
Conjuring votes
DAILY NEWS

Wilson Research Strategies, a Virginia-based marketing and consulting firm, recently polled 1,000 American adults - wanna-be wizards of all political stripes - to find out which of Harry's magical powers they'd want to have.

Harry's invisibility cloak was the most desired of the Potter powers: chosen 29% by Democrats (to sneak into voting booths?), to 21% by Republicans (maybe they learned their lesson from Watergate).

The second-most-coveted power was the ability to transmogrify - change into other creatures - with 24% of the Dems wishing they had this power. Maybe that way, John Kerry could turn into Bill Clinton. (Note: It should be transfiguration)

Harry's flying broom was most popular with Republicans (12%), as opposed to 11% for Independents and 8% for Democrats. (With gasoline prices so high, a flying broom might be useful, but is it legal in New York?)

The power to scare off Dementors(soul-sucking spirits who hunt for Sirius Black in the movie) ranked high with Democrats (12%), while GOPers preferred it by 11% and Independents by a mere 1%. Could it be the Dementors carry an uncanny resemblance to the vote-sucking powers of Ralph Nader?
